If your ring / finger measures 14.6 mm, use size 46 in ring size and so on:

Another way to measure ring size requires that you already have a ring. Measure the inner circumference of the ring with a tape measure. Circumference in millimeters corresponds to the ring size. Or you can take a string around your finger and measure the length of the string. This is your ring size. If the length of the string about your finger is 56 millimeters, it corresponds to 56 ring size.
To be 100% sure of the correct ring size, however, it may also be a good idea to go pay the goldsmith a visit to get measured. Here you will be able to measure your exact ring size or you will be able to test "testrings", as it is easy to find the correct ring size.
